Dr Spalding is great, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ he did my husband's cataract surgery, and is always very compassionate and nice.
However Dr Castillejo No stars ⭐ she is very rude, she was talking down to my husband the whole time, and even made a comment about his weight that was very unprofessional. She said "Wow, you're heavy but we got it done" when lifting the chair upright after laying him down flat to check his eyes. No one should be talked to like he was, it's totally unacceptable, if you can't be compassionate you shouldn't work with people.

I had an appointment at noon. I left after 2. And I didn't need anything but a check up. Because they seem to have to many patients, I was referred to another doctor who will check me until I develop problems. But it was a long wait.

The initial waiting was nearly an hour after my appointment time. They ask that you show up ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time then you sit for a long time, once my interaction with the staff and Doctor began things moved pretty quickly. The staff and Doctors were very friendly and professional and the folks in the Glasses Boutique were excellent and helpful with explaining and remaining below the cost that my insurance was willing to cover. Dr. Castallejo was caring and thorough and explained things in a way I could understand. I would and have recommended Cataract & Laser Institute to friends and family.
