“Ankeny Hill has been an incredible place for our dogs Probie and Barney. In the fall 2023 we did basic and advanced training with Alexa. She is fantastic and we all learned so much! Barney at only 11 months became at certified therapy dog which we credit training and experience at Ankeny Hill. We continue to do doggie daycare and both pups lose their minds when I get on I-5, in other words they can’t wait to go to daycare, see the staff and their furry friends! We are always greeted with a happy, friendly employees who absolutely loves Probie and Barney. The staff is always accommodating, and the groomer and grooming services are great too. I will continue to refer people to Ankeny Hill and would highly recommend it!“

“I cannot thank kevin at paw and hand enough. Whitney is a lab/shepherd mix, she went to an 8 week board and train for behavior modification. Whitney previously lived on a farm but unfortunately we had to move to an apartment complex. She wasn't too happy with being on a leash, or seeing so many other dogs and people. I had no idea what I was doing or how to handle her reactive behaviors, it became a nightmare to take her outside to potty, let alone give her the excersize she needed. She was not socialized as much as she should have been while a puppy so new people weren't her friend. at the meet and greet she barked at everyone just about the whole time. Though we were all a little nervous as she is A LOT of a dog, the people at paw and hand made her a whole different dog. We still have a long way to go, but thanks to Kevin I also feel confident enough to have control. She not only walks in heel with little reminders, her house manners and bed stays are amazing. I can't even explain in words the wonders they did with her. I will say, I was nervous of the pinch collar, but I believe that's because I was not educated on how to use them correctly. Even through the rain, flooding, and holidays, they still stayed in contact and shared updates. I truly belive the people at paw and hand put there all in with whitney and truly took care of her. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely return for tune ups!“
