Great experience! The course has a desert feel to it if you're visiting from outside the area. The staff were super friendly and hooked me up with some nice vintage rental clubs. They have plenty of older rental clubs to choose from, and they're included in the green fee! A+ golf outing.
Fun little 9 hole golf course. If you're not in the fairway it's a little tough but the greens rolled well and were true. Tees are set up so you can do 18 holes by switching tees. Very nice people and great food. The restaurant was busy. Part of the fun was dodging the sprinklers they had running in several fairways. It was a beautiful spring day and we enjoyed our day golfing in Burns.
Played this course in May while on a vacation road trip.
The staff were both helpful and friendly, made this stranger feel most welcome.
Early summer so some grooming details weren't completely in order but I'll tell you this - a golfer could play at another course were the greens fees were 10 times higher and not find the greens in as good a condition as they were at Valley Golf Club.
It's a relatively easy course. There were no sand traps nor were there any water hazzards.
I wasn't looking for a big challenge this day, just friendly staff, fair course and wonderful scenery around the course itself.
