Y'all, Ellie worked her MAGIC on me tonight! I came in looking like a mess - weird short-asymmetrical growout situation, hair up in a bun, fine/wavy/frizzy situation - and walked out feeling amazing! I was nervous to try a local salon and would normally drive into pdx, but I'm so glad I trusted the great reviews. Will be back again and again. Ellie made me feel immediately comfortable (normally hair salons make me feel super awkward) and really took her time to understand what would work best for me based on my lifestyle and goals. I asked for her honest opinion, and I'm so happy I let her take the reins. The cut is perfect for my goals (preserving length), and the balayage is custom, perfectly subtle as requested, and 100% fits my style. I'm so impressed and so happy. No more Portland drives for me! Extremely reasonable pricing, which makes it so easy to come back. Thank you!! ♡♡

Lizz was amazing. Took our daughter in for her first major hair appointment. Lizz ask her all the right questions and really listened to what she wanted and made her vision come to life. Very pleased with the level of service and attention. We will be back.

Love getting my hair done with Ellie! She always does an amazing job and makes it look so good. She colored it last time for my wedding, and I absolutely loved the way it looked! This time, I had it cut and blow dry, and as always, I love the way she did it. And the cost is so reasonable too! I'm definitely going to be a regular with Ellie..!

Update from 12/11: I have not received a refund still.
In September, I saw Liz to darken up my base and freshen up the highlights that she had done before. Liz had done a fine job in the past, but this last visit was not that. I had paid $330.00 with tip for my service. My hair had turned darker than I had wanted with blue and orange still in my hair. I was trying so hard not to break down in tears while leaving. Liz had put me down for a phone call follow up to see how I felt about my hair a week later because she wanted to know how it would look after a few washes which I agreed to and paid her for the service. Again, Liz had done a fine job in the past and everyone has their off days, but the level of customer service I had received after leaving is not okay.
Liz ended up texting me instead of calling and after I had let her know that I was not happy with the product she agreed to redo it and put me down for a week later (now two weeks after the appointment). The day that we had scheduled to redo my hair, she had rescheduled on me an HOUR AND A HALF before I was supposed to meet her for the following day.. During the redo appointment, I tried expressing the areas of concern and was met with defensive points. When if I had known that there was a chance that my hair was going to turn blue/been consulted more on the process, I would have chosen a different hair color. At this point, I was so upset. I had worn a hat to work and cried multiple days because of how poorly my hair turned out and just wanted it fixed. Liz stripped my hair and put on new toner, but I still had skunk stripes in my hair. The color was off, and there were pieces that were unaddressed. Liz had noted that there were some orange parts of my hair and said that I could come back the following week and to reach out if I couldn’t make it. I showed up that following week, and no one was there.. I waited half an hour outside and texted her, asking if she was still coming and had no response for her for days.
On 10/16 I reached out to her letting her know that at this point I was still not happy with the product or the customer service and would like to be refunded so I could go to another salon for them to redo the service. I had worked overtime and really had to be able to afford to splurge on myself since I was already feeling down about my appearances. I received a quote from another salon for $500.00 for a color correction appointment. Not to mention that the haircut was not even, and I ended up paying to have it trimmed/evened out, and I’m currently saving to have the color corrected somewhere else.
Because I have worked customer service, I didn’t want to leave a low review and wanted to give the opportunity to make things right, but It is now over a month since Liz agreed to refund me, and I haven’t received one. I am not familiar with a banking service/provider that takes over a month to issue refunds?

Liz did such a good job on my hair I absolutely LOVE it and I’m so happy I got it done. I walked out of the salon feeling so good and confident in my hair which I haven’t felt in a while after having some major postpartum hair loss. I’m so happy with how she did it and styled it I feel so much better!!! And she got me in really quick so that was also a plus!!
