In 2023, my daughter participated in IEA teams for Hunt Seat and Dressage at a different barn. By December 2023, we learned that she didn't qualify for regionals in Hunt Seat, but she still had a chance in Dressage. With two months remaining before the next Dressage show, I reached out to Margo for training. She started with several private lessons and then moved to two to three group lessons each week. During the first month, my daughter received continuous feedback and corrections. When the Dressage show came around, she achieved her first-ever IEA blue ribbon. She earned another blue ribbon at the following show, which allowed her to advance to the zone competition. At the zone show, featuring participants from all nine West Coast states, she secured another blue ribbon, qualifying her for nationals. Throughout this period, Margo consistently trained her two to three times a week. She finished 6th at the IEA Nationals. The following year, she progressed to the highest level for middle school riders, smoothly advancing to nationals and achieving 5th place at the IEA Nationals. She was the only middle schooler from her team to qualify for nationals. While she continued attending the other barn once a week to stay on the team, the dedication Margo demonstrated in training my daughter was extraordinary, and her success at Nationals was undoubtedly due to Margo's invaluable support.

my daughters go to horseback riding lesson here. They really like it and what I like most about it is that Margo the instructor teaches them how to do EVERYTHING. She teaches them how to brush the horses, clean their hoofs, put the saddle on and how to be around horses. Very informative!

Good horses, good instruction. Lessons run on time. Update... Still a good place to learn.

I have been riding for 3 years. The owner of the horse I rode decided to give Margo the horse because she couldn’t afford her anymore. I would go to visit the horse and Margo would nit pick everything I did with her (the horse I have known for 10+ years) I told her I know what I’m doing and I love this horse a lot and Margo kicked me out of her stable told me to never come back because she didn’t like the fact I bonded with the horse before she got to helmet heart.

My grand nephew and niece, the bold and the timid, both adored their lessons. One time and their experience has become the adventure of all adventures when they come to visit.Thank you Margo!

My daughter went to summer camp here this summer and had a blast. She can't get enough of any animals since but absolutely loved horseback riding. She also ended up sick and missing a good chunk of the week. They were very kind and offered to give her the make up days in another week this summer which we gladly accepted.

Margo is an excellent trainer, she’s patient with her students and provides clear instructions. Your horse enthusiast will leave knowing much more than how to sit pretty in a saddle, they’ll also learn the fundamentals of horse care and do all their own work. We started at horse camp, which was an amazing experience, and can be enjoyed year after year.

We've been attending classes here for years. Mrs. Hart is a skilled and thoughtful teacher, finding her students' strengths and improving upon them. Her horses are happy, her stables are clean, her students go on to shows and awards. What an enriching experience!
