Ken’s a great greeter- he made me feel welcome and expediently got me on my way. The car wash is quick and quite thorough. The vacuums work well and and are also equipped with little air blower hoses that are useful for crevices. There’s an endless supply of free rags for on-site use; if you have water you can get a LOT done with them. There’s a mat washing machine “coming soon” too! The whole place is clean and tidy. All in all, a most pleasant experience.
This is my favorite location. Due to the superpowered new vacuums, they installed. In my long lifetime, these are the most powerful vacuums i've ever experienced at a car wash! Some car washes have vacuums with the wimpiest pressure. This one, you wanna be careful because it might suck up things you never intended! Like the rings off your finger!
I had to let you know about the surprising experience I had at my recent visit at the Happy Valley Washman (on 82nd across from Fred Meyer).
I have the pass and usually stop at a couple different locations along 82nd. This particular time I was stopping only to get the recent smoke and ash off the car and had no intention of doing any vacuuming and did not really look forward to climbing out of the car to clean off the tape and grime under it.
To my delighted surprise a young gentleman was waiting in the exit Bay who proceeded to gently wipe my rear view mirror and then go to the back and remove the tape and wipe the gunk from under it AND the rear view wiper!
