I have been going to Sukie for years at this location. We always have fun together. She listens to my ideas, offers her own ideas, and we play around with different lengths of haircuts. Plus we have tried many combinations of dark black/brown underneath with favorite shades of red for my main color. I love how my hair looks and feels and I get many compliments. She is fun, caring, very creative, and always professional. I've enjoyed getting to know other stylists there and seeing their work!
The goal was a pastel pink / rose gold. What was received was a bright orange / coral sunset. Sukie didn't listen to what was wanted and claimed to be very confident at the consultation. The first appointment was just a haircut, and she had to be asked multiple times to go shorter and still never got it short enough, maybe less experience cutting short hair? Had to ask to go shorter during the color appointment 1 month later (charged for the length correction). Was very confused about the color at the second appointment, despite being very confident initially. Spent time talking with the owner of the salon about what colors to use while bleach was already in. Decided they could go "coral" or "purple" instead of what was asked for multiple times. The fact that the owners didn't know how to make the color either, no redo wanted, just a refund! After applying the 2nd color, 2/3 way through the appointment, and once she realized the hair wasn't going well, she brought out a consent form to sign while dye was in the hair! She was gone for 30 min until it was signed. That's a forced signature. The processes on the form weren't even followed by the store as it stated a deposit was to be put down before the appointment and there was none. Not to mention she was late.. again.
