I wish I could give Jake and Story Sold Pest Control 10 stars… Our tenant had called us saying he heard a “mouse in the walls” of the rooms upstairs in the house. I called Jake and he was able to get out there quickly (within 2 days) to assess the problem (Rats… not mice!) and work up a plan of attack. Not only did Jake trap our roof rats and eliminate them, he found every access point in the attic and sealed them up with wire mesh. His follow through is amazing. Once the attic was cleared of rodents, he moved to the crawlspace, where he caught more rats, and did more barrier installs down below, sealing off that area as well. He placed traps by the garden shed where he caught even more rats! Geez… as the saying goes “where you see one rat, you’ve got hundreds…” He updated me every step of the way, by email complete with pictures of his work. His prices are very reasonable for the excellent service, you can pay a lot more for others who don’t do nearly as thorough a job as Story Sold does. It’s rare to find a service professional with the kind of dedication and integrity that Jake has, and he has compassion for the animals he is trapping. I cannot recommend him and Story Sold Pest Control enough!

Jake was so great to work with! I had set out on a search to work with a local entrepreneur and I definitely made the right choice. He is a great communicator, professional and educated in his field, and provided great work! He also helped me work with my landlord so that she would cover the expense of the service. (Landlords are supposed to, FYI!). Give Jake a shout, you won’t be disappointed!
