I just want to say thank you to all the people who work their for the kindness they showed and the gentle hands they gave to my dog my little buddy, when I had to Finally had to let him go to and over the rainbow bridge. I thank you all so very much. It made it so much easier even though our hearts were broken

They were great today putting my baby down but I was told by the vet that took our first appointment it would be 279 to put her down with cremation and getting her in a box and today they said I don’t know who you talked to but that only covers putting her down and taking her home. The vet that said that was too busy to help today. I need another veterinarian office because I refuse to go back! Preying on other people’s pain is not OK in my book.

Sadly my Bear had to venture over the rainbow bridge and they made it as easy as it could be. They took my wishes into consideration and were very compassionate. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give no stars I would the way they treated my dog was unbelievable. I heard them in the back talking and saying so many horrible things about her when she was the sweetest thing in the world just because she threw up on their foot while she was sick, disgusting people.

I dont know if Dr. Bowman knows but he was the first Dr. to see our pup Journey on September 9th in 2013. After about 5 years we moved and then returned. Thinking we would have to find a new vet, we did. That was horrible!!! Then circumstances arose and we found out that Vally Animal Hospital still had us as clients. You sometimes dont realize how great a place is until you feel forced to go elsewhere! I am so happy our pets are back in the care of Valley Animal hospital!!! Now our beloved Journey is coming to the end of her life and just as her life began, we are hoping, her life may end where it really began Valley Animal Hispital and Dr.Bowman. Dr. Bowman and Dr. Contreras are AMAZING! Dr. Contreras recently saw Journey and gave us a small slither of hope which is all we needed to bring her back home. Lord, I couldn't believe how caring and sympathetic she was. But, let's not forget the rest of the staff here. Everyone at Valley Animal Hospital are truly AMAZING!!! So yes, 5+ stars here! If you want truly caring people, then Valley Animal Hopital is the perfect place!

I've ended up in emergency situations with my dogs a few times, most recently one of my pitties being diagnosed with end lymphoma, it happened so fast and out of no where that we didn't have time to even process it was there before we had to make the decision to put our baby to sleep
Thanks to staff we got 3 goodish days with our girl on medication before making the final decision. The staff was super supportive, informative and professional during this time. They even sent me a card in the mail for our loss, thank you

Dr. Webster saved my baby girls leg. This doc came directly from the airport after his vacation to Holland to do surgery on my girl. 3 sugeries and 3 months of boarding and she's doing beautifully. Thanks doc!

DON’T TAKE YOUR “LARGE BREED” dogs!!!
The staff were absolutely delightful and so kind. The vet more or less gave me a laundry list of why people don't have big breeds anymore and i need to do a surgery to keep the dog from having a stomach twist from bloat. I had to bring up methods to reduce the risk. Im sure that the surgery is beneficial its the manner of which he started the appointment stating only negative things about the large breeds, also I had to interrupt him to ask questions. He even tapped his watch and said we better hurry up. Never offered flea and tick treatments or heart guard never discussed hip dysplasia i don’t even know if he did a proper exam because he took the dog out of the room. Positive note about it was i learned why you don’t neuter large breeds until they are approx. 2 years old. You’re welcome for the payment i hope you pay your staff well. Im sure this vet is great for some people but not for us.

Valley Animal Hospital has been the worst veterinary experience we've ever had. Every time we visited, the staff was consistently rude, dismissive, and pressured us to purchase products and services we didn’t need. We always declined, but the constant upselling felt unethical and exhausting.

One of the most disturbing experiences was when we took our dog in after thoroughly bathing her at home. They took her to the back room and returned claiming she had fleas and was dirty—when we knew she was clean. It felt like an attempt to sell unnecessary treatments by staging a problem.

During the pandemic, our dog tragically broke her leg. After treatment, she came home visibly sick. We believe she contracted something during her stay—possibly COVID—while under their care. When her condition worsened over Christmas weekend, we brought her in and pleaded with them to humanely euthanize her if they believed she wouldn’t make it. They did nothing. When we picked her up on Monday, her condition had deteriorated significantly. Two days later, she passed away after suffering tremendously. We hold Valley Animal Hospital responsible for her decline and death.

This clinic has shown us time and again that they do not genuinely care about pets or their owners. The billing has always been inflated, and we’ve felt taken advantage of. We stopped going there over five years ago and will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

We now go to All Creatures in Eagle Point, and it’s worth the drive from Grants Pass. They are compassionate, honest, and truly care about the well-being of animals and the families who love them.

Avoid Valley Animal Hospital at all costs. They do not deserve anything more than a one-star review.

High suggest staying away from this vet, they will over charge you hundreds of dollars.
The first time I let it slide, the second time I got charged for things I did not consent to. Also refused to refund me. They add things on to get the most money out of you.
