I just had a great first impression with Kernutt Stokes. As a first time caller without a clear sense of exactly what I was looking for, the receptionist did a great job of getting me to the right person. I was 10 minutes into the call before I realized I was talking to Jeff Hoyt, one of the partners. He gave me plenty of time and was thoughtful, consultative, upfront on how Kernutt could help and above all listened carefully to my questions and helped me think it through. First impressions count big time for me and my initial grade is a solid "A".

I'm a small business owner (that is, the owner of a small business, not a small person who owns a business) and I've been shopping around locally for accounting services for my company. I haven't had the pleasure of working with the firm Kernutt Stokes, but I did call to inquire about their services and had a great 40 minute conversation with Mr. Hoyt, who is a partner at the firm. To make a long story short, I ultimately learned that Kernutt Stokes is probably better suited for larger or more advanced companies than for providing the services such a simple business as mine requires at this time.
