The massage was lovely, and Jo did a great job.The lost star is because the room where I was was directly across from the front entrance and the door didn't latch properly (not the business's issue necessarily, but something to be fixed please; I felt very exposed, though luckily I didn't hear anyone enter).In addition to that, when I walked in there was no confirmation of who I was or my appointment, no introduction, no questions about where I held stress or which areas might be sensitive, etc. Maybe my previous massages were just more on the therapeutic side, but it seemed odd that there was no conversation whatsoever.The only other point I would mention about this...read full review

I felt energized day after my massage. I received a deep tissue massage with hot stones (free) got all of my muscle knots stretched out. I live on the coast and will be returning to Eugene for future massages

Was looking for a massage due to upper leg and knee pain. I tried my regular place, but they were too busy (which was happening all too often), so I found Awe and was pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting and inviting atmosphere. The therapist was friendly and asked if I wanted a medium or hard massage, and we also discussed the knee and leg pain. She got to work, and I was feeling very relaxed during the entire session. I am very happy I found Awe and will be back in the near future. Thank you, Jo, for your splendid service.
