Herford’s Tree Care did wonderful work! They were professional and responsive. When we called for a quote, we were able to set a time up quickly. Nathan came out and assessed the trees on our property, laying out our options and how they would proceed. We received a written quote promptly. When they came to do the work, they were professional, thorough and respectful. Everything was better than we had discussed—all branches cleared up and chipped, etc. We had a different company come to cut up a fallen tree a few months ago. They left a mess—branches and logs everywhere. The other company also charged more. No comparison. We will definitely be calling Herford’s again.

Living among the trees presents both opportunities and challenges. My clients fell in love with this property and I advised them to have a couple arborists check out the health of the trees during the inspection period. They didn’t want to cut any of the beautiful trees down but after identifying a few as dead or dying and therefore hazardous to themselves, the house, and the neighbors, I negotiated for the sellers to pay $15,000 of necessary tree care. This potentially saved my first time home buyers a giant expense right after purchasing a home. Herford's Tree Care, Inc. did a fantastic job listening to my clients’ wishes to keep as much of the forested feeling and habitat as possible. See photo 2 where from eye level, it still feels like the tree is still living in all its glory when in fact it’s now an opportunity for woodpecker habitat as it will decay slowly.
