Where do I start.... we signed a contract with Reality Homes to build a custom home with a daylight basement in May of 2020 and now this is what our "home" looks like in 2024. They have put us through more than I can say in a short review, so I'll leave it at this: signing with Reality Homes was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. We were to have a very tall (11'8") basement, and after we discovered they were building it several feet shorter than our plans called for, RH just kept pushing us to let them continue on, rather than fix it. We built our home in 2020 and our experience was good. This style of home build allowed us to work together w RHI to build equity and customize our home. Even during price hikes of lumber and onset of Covid slow downs, we now have a beautiful, quality built family home that we love. I’m writing this because most customers who are happy don’t post reviews. The process of build isn’t for everyone. If you want to be involved and get a quality home that is worth the wait, and you’re willing to do homeowner work, go with this builder. I am looking into involving a lawyer with my transaction moving forward with Reality due to some important issues and similar issues from others on here and the BBB. I wanted to see if anyone has had to go as far as using a lawyer with Reality? If so, I would like to speak! Thanks so much!
