I am completely happy with the care we recieved. While the prices ARE high, these prices are standard for urgent and emergency care in my experience. I didn't feel like they just wanted our money, as they were very honest with us about our pet's prognosis and didn't try to push unnecessary and expensive treatments to artificially prolong her life. They were professional and courteous and understanding. We came in at just before 9 on a Monday morning and were seen within minutes.
These folks are great. Caring and considerate of my pets needs, including extra space from other animals. Good at calming, encouraging, and rewarding my dog so that he is happy to come back, even for shots and other less-fun procedures. Good range of services available in-house, good info consistently provided before agreeing to labs etc (health considerations, price checks, any questions answered promptly, good follow-up on lab results).
Not rock-bottom prices, but competitive; I drive an extra 30 min to keep going here because I find their care and competence worth paying for.
MVH saw my dog on an emergency basis on a Saturday and stapled up his gashed head. They were kind and efficient, and treated us very well. Without them we would have had to figure out how to keep our boy calm, clean, and comfortable all weekend then call out of work on Monday to have him treated. Since he was up to date on vaccines and blood work, he was examined and treated at a shockingly low price for emergency vet med. Thank you again for helping my Tracker boy!
