160 Driving Academy of Portland

16140 Southeast 82nd Drive, Clackamas

Thu 8AM - 4:30PM

“I came into 160 Driving Academy in Moline, IL skeptical and guarded because of things I had heard, but Tesla, the Branch Manager, completely shifted that experience. From the moment we spoke, she was sharp, professional, organized, and clearly about her business. She listened to every concern, broke everything down with confidence, and didn’t dismiss how important earning my CDL is to me. She even went out of her way to try and see if there was a spot open for an earlier start date — that speaks volumes about her leadership and work ethic. Tesla leads with integrity and intention, and because of her, I feel confident and solid in my decision. If you’re serious about getting your CDL, this is the location you want — and Tesla is exactly who you want leading it.”

Horizon Driver Education

7535 Northeast Glisan Street, Portland

Thu 9:30AM - 7PM

“I can’t recommend Horizon Driving Education enough! As an adult learner, I was extremely nervous about driving and preparing for my road test, but my instructor made such a huge difference in both my driving skills and confidence.

What stood out to me most was how patient, encouraging, and calm my instructor was. They understood that a big part of learning to drive for me was not just passing the test, but also managing my nerves and building confidence.

My instructor patiently worked through things with me, sometimes more than once, while continuing to encourage me. That balance of patience, positivity, and clear feedback was exactly what I needed.

I went into this process as a very nervous adult driver and came out feeling so much more confident and prepared. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend Horizon Driving Education to anyone, especially adult learners who feel anxious about driving or taking the road test! I passed my road test!”
