I have had my hair butchered by other stylists in bend, before discovering melenis magic. We started off doing extensions to fix the broken chunks I got from another stylist. She definitely does not charge her worth. After talking to her I was surprised to hear how many certifications within hair she has like 30 or more. The conversation is nice,and makes me forget im getting my hair done. Id give her 10 stars for staying away from in appropriate political conversations unlike her co workers, which is uncomfortable at times. But I go to her for her talent and professionalism. I know she rules the scene for curly hair here, but thats not all she does. She did my wedding, and my highlights, and im ALWAYS getting compliments. She does my husband too, but Ill let him write is own review for her. Client for life, I hope she never leaves bend! The only downside, online booking is the only way to score an appointment, shes too busy to get to the phone.

I was lucky enough to find Meleni right after I moved from Seattle to Bend. Any curly girl will relate to the stress of finding someone new who understands their hair, and I was stressed! Not any more. Meleni rocks at color and curly cuts. Both. In the past I've either had two stylists (one for cuts, one for color) or compromised on the color. No more! Meleni does it all, at the highest level. She is super professional, listens carefully to what I want, and executes beautifully. Go see her, you'll be happy with the results!

Went to Meleni thanks to the DevaCurl website, which lists all certified stylists. I've gotten DevaCurl haircuts for the past six or so years and have had stylists in NY, Boston, Bend cut my hair. Meleni is great! Although I don't get the impression there are a lot of curly girls in Bend, she seems to have a lot of experience. She listened to what I asked for, cut conservatively, then when I asked for shorter, she went for it and it looks awesome. Looking forward to going again.
