Needlessly lived in pain for about a decade after a knee injury threw everything out of sync (legs, hips, back, muscle, spine, etc). I had never been to a chiropractor before and was hesitant to try, but Dr. Erica is the best in Bend. If you think living in pain is just part of life, it's not. Go see Erica.

Dr. Jordan at NWX Chiropractic is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and their family practice is up to date on all the latest technology including laser treatment. After just a week of treating my shoulder injury, I am far ahead of my rehab schedule and have full range of motion in my arm. I will be using NWXC for routine adjustments and all future ailments!

Dr. Jordan Doi has been great at keeping this aging athlete going. He has always focused on finding and curing the root cause of my issues. He does not want me to be dependent on any types of crutch or continuing treatment. I had a history of back problems going back years. Sudden pain, followed by days of painful recovery. My doctor told me that I just had to live with the occasional "pinched nerve" and he gave me prescription muscle relaxants. Dr. Doi diagnosed my problem as an IT joint strain, caused by poor posture muscles, in turn caused by years of working at a desk job. It took about 8 sessions to get me realigned, plus months of stretching/strengthening work to get my back to being strong again. Jordan was a coach, urging me to continue my work outside of his office. I'll be doing this stretching and strengthening for the rest of my life. I also have had a long case of heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis. After much research, I chose Jordan over a podiatrist. Jordan found an extremely tight, painful small muscle in my ankle area. He asked if I had twisted my ankle. I then remembered twisting my ankle just before the heel pain started. I realized that most of my problems are related to tight/spasmed muscles in my foot, ankle and calf. Dr. Jordan also recommended laser therapy to promote healing. After about two months of twice weekly sessions, I'm about 80% to 90% recovered and I've stopped the sessions. So nice to be pain free almost all of the time now. Again, I've done much work outside of the office on this problem, including (again) stretching and strengthening exercises. I'll continue these until completely healed. A third recent issue was mid-back pain and tightness. After finding a couple vertebrae out of line, Jordan questioned me what I had been doing lately. Kayaking, swimming, power sanding my deck. None of those would account to the misalignment, he said. I then remembered falling, landing very hard directly on my butt. Yes, that compression would account for this. He then did an alignment followed by electrostim. I walked out feeling like a new man. If you have any conditions similar to mine, I recommend giving Dr. Jordan Doi a try.
