I honestly thought the “Gen Z stare” was just a joke online, but it’s the only way I can describe the passive‑aggressive attitude I got from Natalie during checkout. I don’t live in this area anymore, but I had an appointment across the street and stopped in to pick up my usual Redken blue shampoo. I haven’t bought it in about a year, and after looking through the Redken section I couldn’t find it anywhere. I grabbed another Redken product that happened to be in a blue colored bottle—different formula, but I was fine trying something new.

I had a great experience at Ulta—such a welcoming and positive environment. The store was clean, well-organized, and the staff was super friendly. I especially want to shout out Makayla for going above and beyond to help me pick out a cologne. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Definitely coming back!
I love the salon service here. Everyone is so friendly. Robin takes the best care of my hair—I’m always happy with my cut and color. And Willa is a new addition to the store whose charm and enthusiasm is the perfect finishing touch to a great experience!
