Star is the best! I've been to more than 10 barbers in the Portland area and she is the only one who has cut my hair the way I like it. Love the conversations and the privacy of her studio.

I used to cut my own hair for years. Then I met Star, with Scissorhands Barbershop. She convinced me to let her fade my sides and shape me up. I admit, I was extremely impressed. I go back faithfully now about every two weeks. The most amazing thing is the attention and skill shown in the cut improves every time.

How does one go about describing perfection? You start with Star. I’ve been following Star for 8 years going on 80. This woman knows what she’s doing! She not only takes the time to understand exactly what you want with your hair, but she takes the time to produce the perfect end result every time. I call her my “cowlick whisperer” because nobody else understands the strange swirl of my hair. My father has curly hair and my mother has the straightest, with a wave.
