Took my driving test with Steve this morning, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He was incredibly kind, informative, and made the whole experience much less stressful. Truly an awesome guy.
My daughter was not able to retake her drivers test (or drivers ed) close to home due to a paucity of options in Portland proper. (Word to the wise, DMV NoPo is a scene…) Being less familiar with Beaverton certainly gave us pause, as did doing business in the private sector. But having limited options- we jumped on the calendar at Pacific Driver Education in Beaverton. We were exceptionally impressed with the ease of registering and checking in, and the professionalism of this office. But tester Steve was by far the best aspect of the experience. Took a driving exam only, with no classes. All went nice and on time. reception staff was friendly, examiner as well, instructions during the exam were clear. And again, just a small extra over the dmv exam for using a schools car is totally worth it compared to renting a car if you can’t take an exam on your vehicle
