I found this gem accidentally in 2013 while visiting a friend in Portland, OR. I needed a haircut and looked for one run by a Korean in a phonebook. I was surprised that Kim was not Korean and her skill was so great. I look for any excuse to fly out to PDX so I can have a haircut. My last haircut in late Novemver was so precise and on point. I have so many compliments for many months every time. I can’t wait to find my next trip to have a nice haircut again. From St. Louis, Kate.

Called in ahead for a walkin and she was super nice on the phone. When I came in she greeted me with a smile. She's pretty blunt and will tell you what you really need to do with your hair ( I like this because she's really honest ). Though it might come rude for some people, she's honest and will tell you things that you need to do for your hair. Though she is blunt, she will give you tons of compliments. While I was getting my hair cut, she kept on telling me how straight my hair is, how pretty it is and how I was pretty. Kim is so warmly, genuinely friendly! She answered the phone "Hi Sharon!" as if I was her sister calling. I only get my hair cut every few years so it's just her being happy - I don't expect her to remember me (I assumed she used caller ID)- but she always asks how I've been, and is interested in the answer. My cut is very simple - just a trim, all one length- but she also cuts my bestie's hair, which is short and curly and she does a great job with her, too. 10/10 for a fun, funny 20 min with Kim and her infectious laugh!
