“I went to Riverview Abbey funeral home because a friend of mine for my church Ed who was 96 passed away and his wife Phyllis was at the same place. She died about five years ago. This is the first time ever I Mausoleum. It offers entombment (burial) options including niches for memorializing cremated remains.
I was asked to say a few words about Ed and his life. I couldn't just talke about his life without mentioning his wife Phyllis who died about 5 years earlier and now Ed will be laid to rest next to her.
If you never been to a Mausoleum., it's wall-to-wall burial spaces. It's actually has property deed that comes with it when you purchase it. I was amazed by that.
There are five levels of burial compartments. It in his wife, Phyllis were on the fifth level, which is the highest level of the compartment on the wall. They all had like scenes of the person that was married during the year and it's a big square piece. They put the people into the hole. You'll see some pictures of it when I post them and then they cover it up and that's it so overall, it was a good ceremony and time to spend with your family and honor and his wife Phyllis, and I'm glad I was part of our lives and I'm glad they were part of mine.”
