Riverview Kennels is a great place to leave your pets when you can't take them with you. My wife and I have been loyal customers for years. Our dogs always loved staying at Riverview. We have moved out of Oregon and my wife and I and our German Shepherd Cali miss the wonderful owners and staff at Riverview Kennels. Anyway, I just read about their VIP program to help shelter dogs become more adoptable by moving them to Riverview Kennels and have them stay there and get socialized and obedience trained. Dougal gets so excited when we make the turn to go to Riverview Kennels. He LOVES going to daycare, and we love having a happy, tired pup in the evening.I used to dread dropping my dog off at boarding kennels, calling it puppy prison, but this is not the case at Riverview. We call it puppy camp. I feel good about leaving him in such capable hands when he can't come with us.The new owners and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful! Incredible staff, stunning and peaceful facility for both dogs and their owners. Training class for my newly rescued/foster Malenois was beyond my expectations!!! Wow, we both transformed into.a cohesive unit, and now as a full time pak member, Yogi is flourishing at daycare at Riverview Kennels and with our neighborhood walks in Port Orford! Best experience ever, thank you!!!
