“Baker Vision was able to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment, after I was diagnosed with shingles on my face at a nearby local clinic. I'm not an Oregon resident, but I was in Baker for work, and was at the tail-end of my trip, traveling home the following day. They offered to send the records of my visit to my primary care doctor back home, as well as my eye doctor. Something I wouldn't have thought of until later. My visit was with Dr. Elms, who is calm, warm and knowledgable. She made me feel very comfortable, as well as confident in her shingles expertise. I felt looked after like a mother would her child, she showed genuine care and concern. She told me about how the nerves ran, and she cautioned me about how things could progress and worsen, and what to watch out for in the coming days.
