“A friend told me that this place has wonderful leaf/pig compost that works great in vegetable gardens. I pulled in just before closing today to inquire about getting a yard or two of compost in the near future. They had signs up stating 'sourdough available today'... of course I picked up a loaf, and it was hands down the most incredible sourdough loaf I've ever had. The folks I talked to were real people who clearly have their feet firmly planted on the ground. There were super friendly chickens mulling about everywhere too. Really looking forward to returning in a few days to get a bunch of compost. This is the kind of energy I want in my garden“
