I managed to turn a simple favor from my father-in-law into a locksmith emergency by snapping the key in half and pushing it even deeper into the lock. On a Friday night after business hours, Mike showed up promptly, removed the broken key, fixed the lock, and even cut a new key on-site—all without needing a full lock replacement.
