IF YOU ARE AN SOU STUDENT - GO HERE AND ASK FOR CARRIE! She is the sweetest hairdresser I have ever had and gave my boyfriend and I a student discount which, in Ashland, is really useful. She did both of our hair in 2 hours. Let me expand on that. She was the only one around, gave us both a trim, AND made our hair PLATINUM BLONDE! For my super thick hair, it was only $100. I love this salon. It is quaint and comfortable. All the stylists are excellent.. Especially Nancy Barry!!! I spent the last 20 years trying to find someone to cut my curly hair. She exceeded my expectations and will be my stylist for many years to come!

Most of the attention has been from men, which isn't so much the point as the result of a brand new, flattering hairstyle. I've also been kind of upset with myself because I wonder why I stuck it out for so long with the same stylist? Then I figured it out! I've had a long, continuous succession of some very average hair stylists… and I've lived in some pretty big cities! In other words, if I had had someone of Nancy's caliber, color and cut my hair from the get go back in my twenties, I would have noticed certain things and moved on until I found the right fit. That fit being someone who is skilled, positive, proactive and truly cares about making you look as hot as possible. I can honestly say that my hair probably should have been cut and styled this way my whole life… ugh, if I'd only known! I'm sure there are many ladies out there experiencing the same issues and may not know that there is a better fit!
