About Jackson Wellsprings

Jackson Wellsprings is a peaceful and welcoming retreat that offers a relaxing atmosphere for visitors. Guests appreciate the clean facilities, including changing and shower rooms with lockers. It is recommended to bring a personal lock for safety, as the lockers do not lock. The hospitable staff, particularly noted for their warmth and enthusiasm, provide valuable information about the amenities and surrounding area. Visitors enjoy homemade baked goods and feel a sense of community, making it feel like a home away from home. The property features healing hot spring water, beautiful spaces for events, sacred hiking trails, and an organic garden. The "hotspring spa" has one hot tub, one large cold pool, sauna, and steam room. Sometimes it can be a little crowded, but there is usually plenty of room. Clothing is required during the day, and the night session is Clothing optional for 18+ guests. They now offer snacks, baked goods, cold drinks, and a large selection of homemade Popsicles, as the food options have changed over the years. Many events happen here, including yoga classes, ecstatic dances, kirtan, and weekend festivals, with details available on the website. The site also provides RV and tent camping spots, with a picnic area for visitors to enjoy. Visitors have described the vibe as peaceful and zen, with a mix of ages in the pools and sauna, and friendly people. The outdoor camping and picnic area is flat and grassy, with some road noise until around 10 pm. The locker room and showers are appreciated amenities, though some have noted the bathroom facilities can be a bit stinky. The sulphur-rich water attracts many outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, visitors have had wonderful massages by staff, praised for their healing touch. Overall, Jackson Wellsprings remains a classic, welcoming place that invites guests to relax, explore, and rejuvenate.

I really enjoyed my weekend stay here. I stayed in the Dragonfly bell tent. Seeing it was on the corner of an intersection on the map I was a little worried about privacy, but that wasn't an issue. Lots of foliage around to make it feel like your own little space for your stay, though close to the dome next door. I was also surprised they had an electrical outlet available for use inside the tent.
I was warned about the bathrooms being in need of an update, and I'd have to agree. Primarily, the stalls were really cramped and awkward with my knees hitting the door just trying to sit down. But it was really nice to have flush toilets and free showers available. I didn't...read full review

Great cabins and rustic hippie vibe. If you are looking for luxery stay I reccomend another nearby resort. We rented Nettle glamping cabin for two nights. The cabin was magical with a very clean attached half bath. Bedding is included but we were set up for camping and used our big warm sleeping bags. We ended each day swimming, relaxing in the sauna and soaking in the hot tub. We also loved walking around and checking out the gardens and other sites. Tip: spa showers are nicer than campground showers.

I first visited Jackson Wellsprings in 2011 when I briefly lived in Ashland and just recently revisited whilst in town for a Bodywork Training. It was so beautiful to see how some things haven't changed at the Wellsprings in these last 15 years and how many things have. From the beautiful gardens to the development of the camp and Goddess temple area. I came a few times whilst in town to soak and sauna. There was some sort of music show going on one of the nights I was soaking, which brough in a lot of people to listen and soak. It was a little over crowded to really enjoy the warm pool, steam or sauna that night as there was no room. Otherwise, it was wonderful. Can't...read full review
