This happened a couple years ago but I figured I'd say something don't bring your loved ones to this hospital they don't care about your well being my grandmother went to the Corvallis hospital because she was seeing things and delusional said Albany would be better suited for her so she went here when she arrived they saw she was a drinker and had MS wrote her off saying it was Alzheimer's turned out her intestines were failing they did surgery on her watched her for a while then sent her home a day after she got back the bugs on the walls were back so back we went my mom begged them to do labs and blood work as my grandfather had died of Covid complications a month...read full review
Excellent! In case this is as far as a reader gets. I was a patient at the surgical center at Albany General hospital for a full hip replacement. Dr. James Ryan was my surgeon, took me some time and research to find but well worth it! Five stars for him and everyone of his staff. From the receptionist that checked me into all the friendly competent nursing staff, as well as the PT & OT professionals, a huge thank you, all professional but also personable. Also a shout out to the supporting cast, those who took my meal orders and delivered as well as the gentlemen that cleaned my room. Thank you to all of them!
My daughter went there in severe pain due to history of ovarian cysts that rupture causing internal bleeding and severe pain. She was having chest pain and felt like she would faint. After four hours of non care. She called me crying telling me no one had come to the room that she'd been waiting. She said she felt like she may pass out and asked if her sister should take her to a different hospital. She's had emergency surgeries in the past: I told her not to leave or panic and I'd call to talk to someone. I called and talked to a woman named Paige.
