“We had Roofs On Homes replace our roof. They did an amazing job from beginning to end. I had requested for an estimate and the very next day, Ruth from Roofs On Homes called to set up an appointment for Danny to come out to our home to give us an estimate. When Danny came, he gave me a thorough crash course about Roofs and Roofing, the anatomy of the roof, and all the features of a good roof. It opened my eyes to a whole new concept of roofing, how a good solid roof can protect the house, and it helped us to make a well-informed decision on what we wanted done for our roof. Danny was very patient and was not pushy to get a deal right away. He took the trouble to bring a sample of the shingles to help us decide on the color for the roof. Once we decided to work with Roofs On Homes, Marie from the office kept us abreast on the date for the roof replacement, what we needed to do to prepare for the project and what to expect from the installers. The team of workers, headed by Tony came on time, as promised by Marie. They were so efficient, finishing the project within one day. Tony, the supervisor, stayed on for another couple hours, after the project was completed, to clean up around the property, that there was not one nail left behind. The entire team was very professional and so pleasant to work with. “I had Blackstar replace my Soffits, Facia and Gutters this past fall and they did a great job - were very happy with the result. I ended up getting 5 quotes and did a lot of review on who to choose, and while not the cheapest (nor the most expensive), they were competitive with the others I felt comfortable with doing the job I wanted it done right the first time and was willing to pay a bit more for good workmanship and a company that would stand behind it. The one advantage they had over some of the others was they could do 6 gutters which at first looked really large but we love the way they cover the facia it all looks awesome. Pierre, who did the sales quote, was great to work with and very responsive not pushy and left me the time I needed to figure things out. The work was done over 2 days first crew ripped everything down, the second crew of 2 put up the new stuff. Was amazing how fast they were and the cleanup was done right. They did a great job and even did some fancy work around on one of the downpipes that kept it out of the way of being stepped on. Ill know more this winter with ice damning and in the spring with the rains, but right now I would easily recommend them to a friend.“
