I came home to my floors floating from an HVAC leak. I tried calling the Elite as they are the company my building uses, after 3 attempts to contact them I was told they couldn’t come for a few days. MacLeod had technician’s out that afternoon and they were amazing and patient sourcing out the source. Turns out Elite had installed the splash gaurds improperly on last repair and water wasn't being directed into the drip pan as it should. I will definitely be using MacLeod moving forward.
I can't say enough about Robert the technician and Patrick the owner of MacLeod air. They didn't just come to do a routine maintenance on my heat pump they actually went a step further and found a problem. They were so quick to correct it and my heat pump is now working again and I'm so grateful especially with the summer coming. They were very personable. They listened and they were very thorough with my unit. Thank you so much for all you did and for your quick response truly appreciate it. If I could give you 10 stars I would!!
Heat pump stopped cooling, and my neighbor recommended MacLeod Air. Speaking with Patrick MacLeod, I had a technician the next day.
I will add that 2 other companies had been contacted. One company was unfamiliar with my brand of heat pump (and did NOT charge me for the call). The second company insisted I needed a new heat pump at an estimate of $5,580.
The technicians with MacLeod Air know my heat pump well, and the problem was solved in about 20 minutes. Cost; just over $200. The air conditioning is working beautifully.
