I attended DogPort Academy in 2017, and I highly recommend this college to anyone who wishes to join the Dog Grooming world! John is kind and attentive to his students, helping them any time they need, to establish trust and confidence in themselves while they learn grooming techniques and canine handling. The course is in depth, covering more than the masses would think dog grooming entails. John was prompt with his emails back to me, courteous and patient when I asked questions. So thrilled to have had Dog Port recommended to us. Absolutely the best grooming experience we have had for our pets? The fur babies are always happy and groomed beautifully when we pick them up. The staff is amazing always cheerful and helpful when we drop off and pick up.5 Star business all the way ?

I highly recommend Dog Port Academy. I attended John's course about 6 months ago and have been successfully operating my own grooming business since I completed the course.John genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. Dog Port set me up with enough knowledge and hands-on experience that I felt fully prepared to leave and groom on my own. The small class size gives every student ample time with John and Angie. This really benefited my learning!Not only does Dog Port teach you how to groom dogs but also how to be a business owner. I throughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend this course to anyone who wishes to become a dog groomer!!
