I recently had my dog groomed at Dogpolitain. After picking her up, I noticed her eyes were extremely blood shot. I called them to ask what happened and they told me that dogs’ burst blood vessels when they are distressed and/or are pulling on the noose choking. There was also no apology or empathy for my injured dog. Every groomer knows that if the dog is distressed the groomer is to stop and take a break. They obviously continued to the point that my dog’s blood pressure was so high from pulling on the noose (lack of oxygen) that she was bursting blood vessels in her eyes.
