Once again, I was thrilled with Nina's service at "Swift Stitch Tailor" at 420 Erb St., Waterloo. I brought my 20 year old fabric blinds to be repaired. To my amazement she found a creative way to restore them to their original appearance. My husband and I have used her services in the past for replacing coat zippers, altering dresses and endless hemming of dresses, pants and skirts. I've been getting my pants hemmed and dresses altered by Swift & Stitch for years! The work they do is excellent and the turnaround time is more than reasonable. They are a little pricier than other tailors I've gone to in KW, but the quality of the work makes it worth it! They recently helped me bring an old 100% silk vintage wedding gown back to life. The body of the dress had metal wiring but they were skillfully able to work around it to make it my size. The owner is lovely (albeit very opinionated, haha) and truly loves her craft (along with the other staff). The BEST tailor in KW! Highly recommend! See the photos below for the before and after :)
