Got dip powder/nail extensions removed and ended up getting bio-gel. I have somewhat thin nails to begin with, and usually get dip/extensions if they're short, but was convinced to go a different route.The removal process was... painful. I usually get the tips cut off and then the nail is soaked in acetone (or just soaked off if the nail isn't as long), as dip powder "melts" off and then I get it filed with a drill. The first tech who removed the nails used a false nail tip to pop off the old dip & extension. I actually felt the false tip dig into my natural nail, and I felt my nail tear.
