Normally you get a $5 discount to pay with cash but this wasn't offered this time.
The price has gone up but so has everything else in this world so it's not unexpected. The shop is clean and you don't usually have to wait long to be taken care of.
It used to be your own nails and cuticles were taken care of when you had biogel or tips done but that service seems to be gone from most salons this one included. Though they do give you a hand massage, moisturizer and warm towel at the end.
Had time to kill as my vehicle needed to be seen by a mechanic urgently & this was the closest stop off the highway. Figured I would visit this nail salon while I waited for my vehicle. Average service overall, it was not very busy and it was clean. Prices seemed to be similar to big cities which was unexpected as normally smaller towns charge must less than downtown/major cities. No cash discount offered.
Wonderful staff/artists! Recently moved and tried a few Salons in Waterdown these past few months. This by far is my go to! Was at a salon for 13+ years at my old location, and they made me feel comfortable and welcomed at DK. I am a busy go go go type, I love how fast and gentle they are as I have very sensitive nails and skin and I like to get in and get out quickly (unless it’s a pedicure type of appointment ??). I work with large animals and I destroy my (acrylic) nails often (go with acrylic if you’re into heavy working outside as they are stronger) and they are perfect every time.
