We hired Lara to work on our gut Job of our 80 year old bungalow. We selected Lara as she seemed easy to work with, had great credentials/experience and had a competitively priced proposal. After a few discussions and providing Lara some mood boards and ideas, she understood our style.
Early in the process Lara provided excellent structural revisions that enhanced flow and lighting. Lara has to not only be the loveliest human being ever, but hands down the most talented designer I've ever had the pleasure of working with! We purchased an older home in 2021 that hadn't even had a new coat of paint on the walls in the 23 years the previous owners were in there. We literally had to renovate everything. We had found a contractor to do the work for us and at first thought we could do the "design" piece ourselves. Boy were we wrong! Any decision we had made before finding Lara was a disaster. We had a wonderful experience working with Lara! When we bought our first home we needed major help. Lara thoughtfully worked with us to pick everything from paint colours, light fixtures to furniture for each room. She was exceptionally patient, responsive and listened to our ideas and needs throughout the process. The mood boards she created captured exactly what we wanted for each space. The product lists she provided helped us put each room together when our time and budget allowed. She was so lovely and made what was initially a daunting process a lot fun!
