Mike was fantastic, he was able to repair a split seam on an old leather chair cushion that my family had pretty much given up on. Took just a day or so from first email and photo exchange to picking up the repair. The shop is convenient, just a 1-block walk from the station, making a very easy subway commute carrying my cushion ;). Love these true craftsmen.
This place is amazing!Mike’s work was great, we discussed the project with him, I got my fabric, and he had it done in no time. The craftsmanship was very well done, you can tell Mike takes pride in his high quality of work.
I needed upholstery work done on 6 very good French Art Deco dining room chairs made around 1925, that are important to me and valuable. So I sent pictures to several upholsterers and got quotes from each. I chose Mike at Vito Vesia upholstery, and I'm very happy with the advice he gave and the work that he did. He did it very well, and promptly, and at a good price. I am totally satisfied, and highly recommend him. There are good reasons why this shop has been in business continuously since 1963! Very reliable. He does auto upholstery as well as home furniture upholstery.
