Rachelle has silk pressed my hair twice now and she's done an excellent job each time. I've never had any silk presses before that, and she took very good care of my hair and ensured I didn't have any heat damages. The presses lasts very long depending on how one takes care of their hair. She's very great at what she does. She's highly recommended!!

I had been looking for a natural hair salon in Toronto for months and I feel so glad I got this one, it’s a very nice place, very organized, and charming. I picked Rachelle based on the highlights stories I saw on IG and I feel like I couldn’t have chosen any better. She immediately understood what I was looking for, she was very gentle with my hair even more than what I am sometimes, and she did an amazing job, I walked away looking incredibly gorgeous thanks to her.Thanks again!

This was my first time at Urban Curls and Kalkidan was great. She took the time to explain my hair texture (I’m a black woman with natural hair) and what I would need to keep moisture locked in. After I explained what I was looking for in terms of style, she made recommendations on how it could be best achieved. She explained everything that she would be doing to my hair and during the initial styling process she explained and showed me what she was doing and how I could achieve the same look on my own, at home.
