Sharla and the Indian-looking hairdresser are specifically mentioned for their skilled cuts, flattering styles, and kind personalities. The hairdressers are able to work with various hair types, including very fine and thick hair. Customers often leave feeling great and happy to give big tips.
I normally come here and get my hair cut by the woman in the back right chair, she is excellent. This time she was not there. I got my hair cut by someone who does not listen to any instructions. I showed her a picture of my normal hair cut and told her I wanted a scissor cut. She then takes out the buzzer and gives me a hair cut that is not even close to what I asked for. It looks like there are many reviews about this person, so if she offers to cut your hair, say no.
I’ve been to this locations a few times and been quite happy. However, I arrived today, Feb 22nd, at 7:20pm and refused service as the lady said they needed to clean before closing at 8pm. Didn’t make sense to me. The door was locked when I got there and no customers were being serviced at the time. Had to travel to another top cuts for service. Not impressed. Wouldn’t go to this location anytime near closing in future.
DO NOT COME HERE!!I am very disappointed with this location. I’m a long-time Topcuts customer, but at another location in downtown (at Harbord) and just came here because it happened to be in my way. First of all, price for a regular haircut is $26.95 ($30.5 with tax) which has been raised SIGNIFICANTLY since last year I was at Topcuts. Besides, NO STYLING is provided at all! Just a plain trim and that’s it! The lady who attended me, Beslinda, didn’t even wet my hair thoroughly to cut it, because, I assume, she didn’t want to use the hairdryer and brush on me afterward to style.
