My son and daughter both have come for their first curly cuts at the Curl Lounge and had amazing experiences (with Mariela and Kezia respectively). They are very patient with children and also take the time to give tips and tricks to the parent for maintaining the curls. Even if it costs a bit more than a standard kids salon, it’s worth it for the care they take and the end result!
Love, love, love my experience and Betty! I had the curl glow up appointment with Betty and she was wonderful. She taught me how to get the best out of my curls through products and styling. The cut she gave me was exactly what I wanted from it. Highly recommend trying out the glow up experience if you’re struggling to understand your curls in any way. Lovely experience <3
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, my stylist came across as very cold & uninterested. There was little to no interaction throughout the appointment & I felt completely left in the dark when it came to my hair.
No products were discussed, nothing that was being used on my hair was explained & there was absolutely no conversation around hair care, maintenance, or a routine moving forward. I went out of my way to ask questions & was met with very lacklustre, short responses that made me feel like I was inconveniencing her.
