Dr Cho at the Centre exhibited high level of skills and professionalism when my wisdom tooth was removed on November 26th by him. I am a senior and like all patient, I was over worried how my wisdom tooth was removed. After the initial examination, I learnt that only local freezing was needed, not sedation or GA and I was able to drive home afterwards. On the appointment date, Dr Cho explained the procedures in details and have all my questions answered to my satisfaction before the procedure was performed. I wanted to bring to your attention a recent experience I had with the reception staff at the clinic, which occurred in November 2023. This is the second time I've encountered issues with the reception team at this dentistry.

In August 2024, my dentist sent an oral referral, and I had an appointment with a specialist for my gums on September 5. During this appointment, I inquired about other concerns regarding my teeth, but the specialist informed me that it was outside his expertise and suggested I speak to the receptionist to schedule an appointment with my previous doctor.

I was promised to see my wisdom teeth post extraction without any problem from the doctor. This is one of the few reasons I agreed to do my wisdom teeth although I had huge fears about the procedure/sedation. The nurse (who heard in the room) before I was awake threw my teeth out. It just feels cruel to promise a patient something harmless & to take it away from them. Once again in my life I’ve felt violated & didn’t expect this mental re-traumatization after an oral surgery. Realize your patients are human & that simple requests (that are legal & approved by the doctor) should be followed through.
