For the recordOn the cusp of Bellwoods is this cozy unassuming record shop that welcomed me warmly out of the cold. The stereo played music letting me know they were open so that I could sell my records. Akim dropped everything he was doing and sorted through my second set of records on the spot which was very considerate of him saving me time and travel. But don’t expect this as it normally takes a couple hours to process the records, especially during operating hours. He and Cal were observant and thoughtful enough to take the remainder of my records realizing that I would have to walk a fair distance with such a bulky load. I ordered a record from Shortstack Records via Discogs and it was my first time ever buying from Discogs. I was a bit hesitant because of this but Shortstack stayed in contact with me and made the experience wonderful. My record arrived packaged with care and quite quickly as well. Definitely recommend this store!
Loved this record store! The selection of records available and their mint state surpased all my expectations. I got a chance to talk briefly with the owner and you can instantly tell it's someone who really loves music. I think that passion translates into the quality of the store cause it definitely has some magic.It's going to be for sure in my radar from now on as one of my favorite shops to browse in Toronto!
