A friend recommended this place. I went for a quick trim and it turned out perfect! Efficient, fuss-free cut with lots of care. Had great chat with the boss and his wife. Nostalgic shop furnishing reminiscent of Chinese hair salons from the 90s. I will come back again.
Had a lovely quick trim. Walk-in service but I called ahead to confirm they were open. I knew just what I wanted and the owner --- I forgot to ask his name! -- did a perfect job! Friendly, cheerful and affordable, I highly recommend!
I've lived in Toronto now for 12 years, and for 11.5 of these years, I've come to People Hair Salon. It was a $6 haircut the first time I went, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown of all barber shops along with inflation, prices have increased to $15 (as with many businesses in the area). It's still among the cheapest in Toronto, and basic haircuts are often done within 10-20 minutes.
