My 2011 Subaru Outback displayed 4 dashboard warning lights. After bad experiences with dealership service centres, I searched online for an independent, reliable repair shop and found Don Valley Auto Centre.
George and Tom fit me in their busy schedule to run a scan and found that the car's computer needed a reset. I was fixed up and on my way in 10 minutes without being charged and with info on how to avoid the problem.
I count myself very lucky to have found an auto repair garage owned and operated by honest, trustworthy competent people.
I left them with good news and bad news.
The good news - they have a customer for life. The bad news - I'm 81.

I have been coming here for over 15 years, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. It’s a family-run business, they are honest, trustworthy people who will tell you exactly what needs to be done—without any pressure or price gouging.
I bring my car here for everything from routine oil changes and repairs to tire changes and seasonal tire storage. They are always busy, so I usually book maintenance appointments a couple of weeks in advance. But whenever I had an emergency, they have always found a way to fit me in.
Great service, fair pricing, and people you can trust. I love these guys and would not take my car anywhere else!
I walked in to Dan Valley this morning and had the most extraordinary customer experience I’ve had in a long time. George, the owner was at the desk dealing with lots of customers on the phone and in person and I could tell by listening to him that everybody is treated the same, and treated very very well. I had a problem with a tire that he referred to one of his guys that was the same way with me. He wouldn’t take payment from me, but hopefully this review will send him some more customers. Although I’m not sure he really needs more, it looks like he’s got tons already. Couldn’t recommend this business highly enough!
