My hair has gone from very short to almost waist-length in the last five years, and Matthew has been there for me throughout all of it. His skills are phenomenal, no matter the length of my hair. He always makes me look good and feel good, too! Matthew has a fantastic personality and is a pleasure to chat with. The hair shop is more than just a place to get a haircut. It's a warm and inviting space. The owner's friendly nature and entrepreneurial spirit make every visit a delightful experience. To sum up, it was a pleasure to go there; it was fun to hang out with Matthew, fantastic hair, independent of the length. I will see you all in a few months :)

He moved salons during my pregnancy and I lost touch. I searched for ten years to find him again. It's been four years since we’ve been reunited, and I will follow him wherever he goes.
You know your hair stylist is Simply The BEST when months after a cut, you take it out from being squished down in a scarf all day...and it turns out like in a movie kinda perfect. I sent a pic to Mathew and he thought I had a blow-out!

Have gone to Chroma Hair Shop several times in the past year or so after my friend had referred me to this amazing salon. Every single appointment has been completed flawlessly, whether it be for colouring my hair, cutting it, or styling it.
From the moment you step into the salon, you are greeted with kindness and care, truly being treated like a celebrity. Always have been offered a choice of refreshments, which really elevates the experience.
In terms of staff, Matthew has been taking care of me the past couple of times I have visited. WOW! He knew how to execute exactly what I wanted, even when I did not have the words to describe certain cuts or styles....read full review
