I originally booked with Chris expecting a relaxing massage, but I left with so much more.
Before beginning treatment, Chris took the time to understand my lifestyle, stress levels, sleep and overall health. As a new mom surviving on very little (and poor quality) sleep, I had accepted that my almost daily migraines, tennis elbow and constant muscle aches were just part of life. Instead, he explained how everything was connected and created a treatment that was completely personalized to me.
After just one session, my migraines disappeared, my tennis elbow was gone and my body felt better than it had in months. I actually look forward to exercising and moving again.
Chris was a huge help. I came in with a badly injured elbow, and he was able to treat it while also keeping me informed and engaged throughout the entire session, which I really appreciated. I've been to other massage therapists before, and a lot of the time I leave feeling confused or unsure of what's actually going on. Chris was different. I have been seeing Chris and Alexandra at Araya Health for several years now. They are both incredibly empathetic practitioners with my best interests at heart. They have very different styles but excel at their respective techniques. Highly recommend this clinic for long term wellness.
