Joey has been my hairdresser for almost 20 years - during all of his moves to different locations in Toronto, I have moved with him because he is the best hairdresser I've ever had. I never go into the salon with a checklist of what I want or a picture of the kind of hairstyle I think would look good on me - I give him carte blanche, I always leave the style and colour up to him and he has never disappointed. I always leave the salon with a trendy, fresh style and colour. Now that I've moved out of the city, I still travel in to have Joey do my hair - finding another salon and stylist is just not worth the risk :)

I've been seeing Joey for the last 7+ years, and he is absolutely fabulous. Not only does he listen to what kind of style I want, he takes the time to understand my (lack of) enthusiasm for daily styling. I'm a wash-and-go kind of girl, and want my hair cuts to still look put together with minimal effort. If I picked a hair cut that wasn't attainable without styling, Joey would let me know, or explain how he modifies the style to better suit my wash-and-go efforts. Joey also takes the time to layer and cut my hair properly so that I return within a reasonable time-frame (usually 10 - 12 weeks) and my hair still holds it style, as opposed to other salons where some stylists only cut the top layers and the cut has grown out in a mere 6-8 weeks (yikes). Joey also did my hair for my wedding. We did a different style from my trial, but I loved it. A messy side bun that was both smooth with voluminous at the crown. The hair-do held up day to night, and IMHO looked effortless. I always recommend Joey to my friends and family, and so far, my sisters and cousins love his cuts!

I've been going here for about 6 years now to see Jenna and I can honestly say she is a miracle worker! When I first came in I had just bleached my hair about 7 times to get magenta pink out and my hair was basically straw. I also had synth dreads in too and my natural hair was starting to form real dreads. She was able to somehow brush the dreads out and give me a really cute short haircut. Since then I've been going to see her twice a year or so and my hair always looks fabulous. I'm the type of person that gets bored easily with hair and I'm guilty of changing my hair from black to red and blonde and she is patient enough to help me get to where I want to be. I've recommended this salon to all my girlfriends and I will definitely continue going here! Plus Jen (front desk) is awesome and always offers refreshments :)!!
