While visiting Toronto for a few weeks, I pinched a nerve in my neck and was in severe pain. I was desperate for relief but struggled to find an appointment due to the holiday season. Thankfully, my chiropractor referred me to Ed, who kindly squeezed me in—and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Ed gave me the best massages of my life...and I've had a lot of massages! His skill, kindness, and compassion made a tremendous difference in my recovery, and I truly felt cared for in every session. I also appreciated how he worked closely with my chiropractor to ensure a coordinated approach to my healing.

Echoing the sentiments of the other reviewers, Edward is amazing, you leave his clinic with a whole new body. Because of my ADHD I deal with insomnia, restless leg syndrome and bad posture due to my study habits in college, having come to the clinic Edward has definitely alleviated and mitigated my stresses. His clinic is affordable, and close to the beaches. If this is your first massage, I would recommend Edward he is compassionate, a great listener and his pressure during massage is everything!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thankyou for helping me Edward these last 2 years.
I was worried when I moved away from my old RMT, but found Ed Tonus and he's the best RMT I've had in addition to being an all around friendly and interesting person. I see him ~monthly. He has a ton of knowledge and knows how to work specifically on my trouble areas as opposed to just running through a generic routine. He is also extremely professional and charges decent rates.I like the Active Healing Centre because it's a bright, clean, and relaxing place. The online booking feature makes it super easy to create appointments whether as a new or returning client.
