First Choice Haircutters is a conveniently located hair salon in Stratford offering consistent men's, women's, and kids' haircuts, color services, and professional hair care products at an affordable price. The stylists are some of the best trained, with Red Seals, and are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They listen carefully to clients, explain their process, and offer extremely helpful advice. The atmosphere is awesome and very friendly, with a cheerful and fun vibe. Staff treat everyone with care, making clients feel extremely comfortable and welcome, easing anxiety. They provide amazing haircuts and wonderful styles, ensuring clients get exactly what they ask for and are happy to come back each time.
Checked in on line and showed up 8 minutes late. That was on me. Told they needed to book me again and it would be a 20 minute wait. Ok I agreed to wait. Then another staff got involved and said I’d need to wait almost an hour. No thanks!
Here’s the problem: the last time I came here I checked in on line and showed up 10 minutes early. But their computer crashed so I was out of luck. Was told I needed to wait, 15 minutes which turned into an hour. I am a patient person, things happen. But no apology.
So when I checked in on line yesterday and was 8 minutes late and told I need to rebook and wait an hour I chuckled to myself.
Will never come here again.

After 10 years of not going and getting my haircut, I finally pulled the trigger. Let's say my anxiety was very high. But britney empathize with me and ensured she listened listen to everything i saidshe made me extremely comfortable and eased my anxiety before going in. she explained every cut and layer she put in my hair taking her time to even out my chopped layers. She instantly brought my anxiety down with her cheerful demeanor and her knowledge for hair. Thank you, Brittany for the amazing haircut. I will be seeing you sooner than 10 years.
Went to First Choice Stratford.
Took my senior mum. We both got what we asked for. The atmosphere at this salon was awesome so very friendly. The stylist were having fun which was hard not to partake in.
Manager cut my hair. She was extremely helpful with her advice.
